80s Inspired Graphics
I created a series of 80s themed animations for Rise TV as part of their video packaging. Rise TV, previously "Edge of Wonder", is a streaming platform that produces documentaries exploring the mysteries of humanity, earth and space. Their branding is heavily reminiscent of 80s culture with bold maximalist design and Miami vice backdrops.

Weirder Things,
A Stranger Things Parody
The challenge was to recreate the infamous 'Stranger Things' opening sequence for a parody series on Rise TV - 'Weirder Things'. I faked the 3D effect on AE by illuminating the edges of the text and adding layers of grain textures. The key detail is in the flicker, like an old school film, which I replicated by adding a light sweep effect with a wiggle expression.
EOW ft. Delorean Intro
Cars are a prominent feature of the 80s, and one of the most iconic cars of the time was the DeLorean (Back to the Future). Using a pre-made 3D Delorean car model, I merged Blender with Adobe AE to create a flying DeLorean 80s opening animation that is used prominently for Rise TV videos.

Based on images of the Die Glocke or "The Bell", a rumored technological structure and secret weapon from WW2, I created an animated 3D model to showcase what it would have looked like. This model was made for a live broadcast on Rise TV that you can watch here.
